CAT-6's Mobile Device Management
(also referred to as Kiosk Mode) allows you to regulate device usage. The
dispatch controller has complete control over device features, system settings,
apps, and user permissions to ensure maximum security and proper device use at
all times. Temporary mitigation is also possible via the dispatch console.
Devices can be set up to run in
single-app mode, allowing users to launch only the push-to-talk over
cellular (PTToC) app, or in multi-app mode,
allowing users to access only approved third-party apps on the whitelist.
In addition to controlling
device functionality, MDM can also generate cost savings by preventing
unnecessary use of company resources.
